Help & FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How Khnum works. For the training science itself — measuring, safety, and what actually drives growth — see the Learn primer.

Using the app

How do I log a workout?

Tap the green + button. Start a routine and the runner walks you through each exercise with a timer, or quick-log a single exercise. You don't have to use the live timer — you can also just record what you did after the fact.

Can I log a session from last night or earlier?

Yes — logging after the fact is fully supported. Pick the date when you log and type the actual duration instead of running the timer. Your activity rings credit the day you log it (today or yesterday).

How do I set a goal?

Open Measurements and switch to the Goal tab, then set a target for any metric, with an optional target date. Your Progress charts then project toward it.

How do I log a measurement?

From the + button choose Log measurement, or open Measurements. Fill in only the metrics you took — blank fields are skipped. Post-pump, -traction, or -stretch readings are tracked separately as 'expansion', not your current size.

Streaks, rings, XP & the Vault

How does my streak work?

It counts consecutive calendar days with a logged session, ending today or yesterday. Miss a day with no banked freeze and it resets to 0 — but every bit of XP you earned is permanent.

What's a streak freeze?

You start with two banked freezes, and earn one more for every 7 'perfect days' (days where you close all three rings) — up to two banked at a time. A freeze applies automatically to cover a missed day so your streak survives; a deliberate rest day never uses one. If your streak does pause, training again the next day wins back the single day you missed (yesterday) — once per pause.

What are the three rings?

Daily activity rings: Check in (log a measurement, capture, or EQ rating), Train (finish a routine or log a session), and Volume (hit your daily time-under-tension goal). Closing all three is a 'perfect day'.

How do XP and levels work?

You earn XP for sessions, measurements, personal records, closing rings, and more, and a longer streak multiplies it. XP raises your level and rank — they're progress markers, never a paywall.

What's the Vault?

Your trophy case — every milestone and achievement you've unlocked in one place. It's under More on mobile, or the sidebar on desktop.

Privacy & your data

Who can see my measurements and logs?

Only you. Everything is private to your account and protected by row-level security at the database — no other user can read your data. There's no social feed and nothing is shared.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Settings → Export downloads a ZIP of CSV files covering every table — your raw data, yours to keep, in a standard spreadsheet format.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Delete account. It downloads your full export archive FIRST so you always keep a copy, then permanently hard-deletes everything (and aborts if that export ever fails). Deletion cascades to all of your data and can't be undone.

Training basics & safety

Is this safe?

Done correctly — warm up first, progress gradually, and never push through sharp pain, numbness, or loss of color — manual PE is low-risk. The real danger is over-training and excessive load. Read the safety primer before you start.

How often should I measure?

Every 3–4 weeks, not daily. Day-to-day readings are mostly noise (heat, time of day, and EQ all swing them); a real trend only shows over weeks.

How to measure
How long until I see results?

Slow — think weeks to months. Erection quality and fullness usually improve first; measurable length and girth change gradually. Consistency beats intensity, and lifestyle (sleep, cardio, body fat) moves the needle from day one.

The lifestyle foundation
Am I normal? Does size matter?

The clinical averages are smaller than most people assume, and the spread is wide. The Learn primer breaks down the real numbers honestly.

What the average actually is
What's a decon break?

A 1–2 week deconditioning rest that restores your tissue's sensitivity after a plateau — rest, not more volume. When both your erect and stretched length go flat, the coach suggests one.

How do I make my bulge look bigger?

Mostly optics, not growth — the only lever that changes real visible length is losing the suprapubic fat pad; grooming, a contour pouch, and warmth handle the rest. Learn has the full evidence-graded rundown (with the safety flags on rings, pumps, and prescription options).

How do I increase my load (ejaculate volume)?

One lever dominates: 2–3 days since your last finish. Hydration helps, and a genuine zinc deficiency is worth fixing — but almost every “volume” supplement is anecdotal. Learn grades each one honestly.

Should I take progress photos?

They catch what a tape measure misses — flaccid hang, girth distribution, EQ. Khnum has no photo upload on purpose, so keep them in your phone's own hidden album (iPhone Hidden album or Android Locked Folder) and just match the date to your logged measurement. Learn has the full shoot protocol and the honest privacy caveats.

About the name

Why is it called Khnum?

Khnum is the ram-headed Egyptian god of creation — in myth he shaped every human body on his potter's wheel, molding each from clay before it drew breath. That's the whole idea: you sit down at the wheel and deliberately craft the body you want, by your own hands, over time. Patient craft over quick fixes — the same thing real training rewards.
